Our custom designed wave barrel creates an innovative and unique environment to finish our fully mature, Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey. The proprietary, flash-charred, toasted grooved-staves increase the surface area of the barrel allowing more bourbon to come in contact with the oak. The result is a seasoned, double barrel whiskey that is both smooth and well-balanced.
Tasting Notes
Aroma
The aroma is thick with wood — as you might expect — and notes of vanilla and butterscotch over cinnamon apple tart.
Palate
On the tongue you’ll find classic baking spices up front followed by notes of roasted almonds, sweet bell pepper, fresh wood, and a hint of apple.
Finish
The finish is medium length with a lingering spice.
