Painstakingly crafted by Master Distiller Eddie Russell, this very special, exquisitely aged bourbon is the culmination of 13 years of perfected maturation. A 2.0 reimagining of the original Russell’s Reserve 13 – named 2021’s whiskey of the year – subsequent batches of this limited release will offer a distinct expression of the barrel, each batched at a unique variable barrel proof point.
Tasting Notes
Aroma
Notes of vanilla, caramel, and brown sugar, followed by cherry, spice notes of clove and nutmeg and signature Wild Turkey Distilling Co. dusty funk.
Palate
Sweet notes of cola, molasses and dark fruit transition to lighter notes of fruit cobbler and butter cream.
Finish
A long-lasting finish with mature oak, char, and deep oak spice, and a hint of black pepper.
